This fabrics is used in horizontal vacuum filters for filtration of fine gypsum particles in FGD plants. Excellent filtration and mechanical properties of the filter fabric are due to the unique fabric construction. PET small-diameter monofilament yarns are used on the cake side to create a large number of very small apertures, while there are PET monofilaments with big diameters on the lower side to achieve high bending and mechanical resistance.
